Hospital clowns focus on the person in front of them, not their position or their illness.
Leaders should recognize their employees for the individuals that they are, not their title or positions

My journey started in the world of experiential education, working in non-profits, summer camps and with young professionals in different organizations. I got to create experiences and opportunities to learn, play and grow.
During my two decades in the field, I developed emerging leaders training programs, established my people-centered approach, created and led team development workshops and gamified experiences, employee engagement methods, facilitated courses for companies, and more.
At the same time, I invested in my work on stage as a singer-songwriter, performing in musical theater, and as a hospital clown. These experiences all led me to realize that my two worlds are closely related.
This gave birth to my idea of "Lessons Leaders can Learn from Hospital Clowns". By using the communication skills and people-centered approach I use for serving the needs of others as a hospital clown, and bringing them to the workplace, I am able to have a deep impact on the people I come in touch with.
My personal and professional experiences, as well as academic studies, highlight and develop the largest asset in your organization- your people- in order to create growth.
I hold a B.A in Education and Theater and an M.A in Human Development and Education. I am a Certified Change Management Practitioner and Trainer (APMG).
I currently live in Fairfax VA, with my wife Jessica.
